Scottish Premiership roundup: Celtic top after win at Motherwell

Sports Mole rounds up all of Saturday's Scottish Premiership action, with Celtic going top thanks to a Nadir Ciftci goal.

Celtic are top of the Scottish Premiership following a 1-0 away win against Motherwell.

The day's early kickoff saw Nadir Ciftci slot the ball into the back of the net from close range, with Motherwell remaining tenth in the league as a result.

Kilmarnock are up to ninth following a 2-0 home win against Inverness Caledonian Thistle, with Greg Kiltie and Josh Magennis securing the win at Rugby Park.

Partick Thistle grabbed just their second win of the season thanks to a 2-1 away victory against St Johnstone.

First-half goals from Gary Miller and Steven Lawless cancelled out Steve MacLean's finish, before Partick's Abdul Osman saw red for a second bookable defence in the final minutes.

Elsewhere, Hamilton Academical and Dundee battled out a 1-1 draw at New Douglas Park, with Kevin Holt putting the visitors into the lead before Dougie Imrie equalised. Attacking midfielder Darian MacKinnon saw red for the home side for a high tackle on Thomas Konrad.

Results in full: Motherwell 0-1 Celtic, Hamilton 1-1 Dundee, Kilmarnock 2-1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle, St Johnston 1-2 Partick.
