Sporting Gijon striker Stefan Scepovic has reportedly moved a step closer to joining Celtic after the two teams agreed a fee for his signature.
Scepovic has been strongly linked with a transfer to Celtic during the past seven days, and it now appears that he will move to the Scottish champions after Ronny Deila agreed to pay £2.3m for his signature.
According to BBC Sport, the 24-year-old will complete the switch before the end of the transfer window providing that he can pass a medical and gain a work permit.
Celtic have been looking to strengthen their squad after their poor performances in Europe resulted in them being demoted to the Europa League.
