FC Utrecht boss John van den Brom has revealed that Celtic showed the biggest interest in Gyrano Kerk earlier in 2020.
Kerk has enjoyed an excellent Eredivisie campaign, contributing 10 goals and seven assists from just 24 starts in the final third.
Celtic were linked with an approach for the 24-year-old in January, only for the Dutchman to reject the chance to move to the Glasgow giants.
However, Van den Brom has acknowledged that he would not be surprised to see offers made for his key man during the next transfer window.
Van den Brom is quoted by the Daily Record as saying: "At this moment there are no actual concrete offers for Gyrano, but Celtic were the club most interested.
"I suspect the coronavirus pandemic will put most transfers on hold just now, but I think the transfer window will be extended to September this year, and when that happens I think there will be a lot of interest in Gyrano again. We are expecting that."
Kerk still has three years left on his contract.
