Kris Commons will ask for a new contract at Celtic, according to reports.
The midfielder issued a public apology after an outburst while being substituted during the Bhoys' Europa League defeat to Molde on Thursday.
The player's agent claimed that he has put the incident behind him and wants to see out his career at Celtic Park.
"No way is Kris going anywhere, he's staying put – 100%. He wants to end his playing career with Celtic," Commons' agent Martin Reilly told the Sunday Mail.
"When he retired as a Scotland player, he did it to extend his club career and if he stays fit he can play at Celtic until he's 35.
"What happened on Thursday is all brushed under the carpet. He's happy at Celtic and will get on with doing his job professionally."
The 32-year-old has made 211 appearances for Celtic since joining the club in 2010.
