Charlotte FC vs. Atlanta (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Charlotte FC host fellow southerners Atlanta United in MLS on Saturday for the third edition of an emerging rivalry.
Charlotte are one of two Eastern Conference clubs to have lost both of their opening games of the season, while Atlanta have taken four points at this embryonic stage of the campaign.
We say: Charlotte FC 1-1 Atlanta United
In a run starting with their defeat against Charlotte last April, Atlanta have conspired to win just one of their previous 15 away games.
However, with the likes of Almada pulling the strings behind a freshly available Giakoumakis, Atlanta could earn a draw against their emerging rivals from the club's first away trip of the new season.

Vancouver vs. Dallas (Saturday, 10.00pm)
© Reuters
The Vancouver Whitecaps continue to search for their first points of the 2023 Major League Soccer season when they host Dallas on Saturday at BC Place Stadium.
Vancouver suffered another 2-1 defeat last weekend, most recently versus the San Jose Earthquakes, while Dallas earned their first three points of the campaign, beating the Los Angeles Galaxy 3-1.
We say: Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 Dallas
Although the Caps are pointless this season, they have played a lot sharper than their record suggests, and they showed a killer instinct in their midweek encounter, something which should give them a ton of confidence heading into this match.
Dallas reacted well last week, but they have put themselves in bad positions often in the early portion of the campaign, and we expect to see a Caps unit hungry to win their first of the MLS season this weekend.

Cincinnati vs. Seattle (Sunday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
FC Cincinnati welcome the in-form Seattle Sounders to the TQL Stadium in the early hours of Sunday morning as both sides look to build on their unbeaten starts to their respective MLS campaigns.
Cincinnati currently occupy sixth in the Eastern Conference, while Seattle are top of the Western Conference at this early stage of the new season.
We say: FC Cincinnati 1-2 Seattle Sounders
It is difficult to look past Seattle for this one, given how well they have started the season.
The season is still young, but the Sounders look re-energised and primed to regain their status as an MLS powerhouse, showing poise along the backline in their opening two games with plenty of outstanding individual performances.

DC United vs. Orlando City (Sunday, 12.30am)

DC United will look to bounce back from defeat when they host Orlando City at Audi Field in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The visitors, meanwhile, have enjoyed an unbeaten start to their MLS campaign, winning one and drawing one of their opening two games, leaving them in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.
We say: DC United 1-1 Orlando City
DC United had one of the worst home records in the division last season, and given the defensive stability that Orlando have shown in their opening two MLS games, we think that the spoils will be shared in an evenly-matched contest this weekend.

NY City vs. Inter Miami (Sunday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
Currently off to their best start since entering Major League Soccer in 2020, Inter Miami play their first road game of the regular season when they travel to Yankee Stadium on Saturday for a playoff rematch with New York City FC.
The Pigeons are winless after two matches this year, playing to a 1-1 draw versus the Chicago Fire, while the Herons maintained their 100% record by upsetting the Philadelphia Union 2-0.
We say: New York City FC 2-1 Inter Miami
Bringing back two veterans familiar with the New York way of playing should improve the Pigeons' across the board, while we believe Talles Magno could be due for a big match.
The Herons have got the job done, but they have still allowed some quality scoring opportunities, while playing on the road is not their strong suit.

Philadelphia vs. Chicago Fire (Sunday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
Beaten MLS Cup finalists Philadelphia Union host Chicago Fire in the early hours of Sunday morning in the middle of their CONCACAF Champions League knockout tie.
The Union battled out a 0-0 draw against perennial Peruvian champions Alianza in Lima on Tuesday while the Fire earned a 1-1 draw with New York City FC in MLS last weekend.
We say: Philadelphia Union 3-1 Chicago Fire
Philadelphia may have an eye on Alianza's visit but one of the favourites to top the Eastern Conference are unlikely to have their winning home run ended by a gutted Chicago Fire side this weekend.

Toronto vs. Columbus Crew (Sunday, 12.30am)
© Reuters
After earning their first point of the 2023 Major League Soccer campaign last weekend, Toronto will host the Columbus Crew on Saturday in their opening match at BMO Field this season.
The Reds ended their two-game road trip by drawing Atlanta United 1-1, while the Crew won their first encounter of the year, 2-0, over DC United.
We say: Toronto 2-1 Columbus Crew
Injuries to some key players have plagued Toronto early on this season, but their new centre-backs seem to be well-equipped to handle the dangerous Columbus attackers, while Johnson showed last week that he is still an elite keeper, so we expect that he and the TFC home crowd will power them to victory.

Kansas vs. LA Galaxy (Sunday, 1.30am)
© Reuters
Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles Galaxy will be looking to kick-start their 2023 Major League Soccer campaigns when they face off at Children's Mercy Park this weekend.
SKC have taken one point from a possible six so far, while the Galaxy find themselves second from bottom in the Western Conference after losing their opening match.
We say: Sporting Kansas City 1-2 Los Angeles Galaxy
Given that Sporting Kansas City have flattered to deceive during the early stages of the new campaign, we expect LA Galaxy to flex their muscles and claim all three points at Children's Mercy Park.

Minnesota Utd vs. NY Red Bulls (Sunday, 1.30am)
© Reuters
The New York Red Bulls will go in search of their first Major League Soccer win of 2023 when they face Minnesota United at Allianz Field this weekend.
The Loons, meanwhile, will aim to build on their winning start to the new campaign, having claimed a 1-0 victory at FC Dallas in their season opener.
We say: Minnesota United 0-0 New York Red Bulls
The New York Red Bulls boast one of the tightest backlines in Major League Soccer, but they often struggle to find the net at the opposite end of the pitch, meaning that Struber's side are frequently involved in low-scoring matches.
For that reason, we expect the Red Bulls to hold Minnesota United to a goalless draw at Allianz Field, as the Loons are also known for their stubbornness under Adrian Heath.

Nashville vs. Montreal (Sunday, 1.30am)
© Reuters
Saturday will feature a matchup between one unbeaten team and another one who have yet to earn a point on the current MLS campaign as Nashville SC play host to CF Montreal at GEODIS Park.
The Boys in Gold have not conceded so far in two regular season encounters, drawing the New York Red Bulls 0-0 last weekend, while Montreal are goalless to this point of the campaign, losing 1-0 at Austin FC in their previous contest.
We say: Nashville SC 2-0 CF Montreal
Nashville have been a tough nut to crack defensively in the early stages of the season, while Montreal are still trying to find someone who can create chances and fill the void left when Djordje Mihailovic departed for AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Salt Lake vs. Austin (Sunday, 2.30am)
© Reuters
Real Salt Lake welcome Austin FC to America First Field for their first home game of the 2023 season in Major League Soccer on Sunday.
The Claret and Cobalt will be seeking revenge against the Verde and Black after losing on penalties in the playoffs last season.
We say: Real Salt Lake 2-2 Austin FC
At least three goals have been scored in each of the last four meetings between Real Salt Lake and Austin, so an entertaining contest could be on the cards on Sunday.
The Claret and Cobalt will fancy their chances in front of their home supporters, but with Austin set to recall a number of first-team stars to their side, we expect the visitors to come away with at least a point at America First Field.

Portland vs. St Louis City (Sunday, 3.30am)
© Reuters
Portland Timbers will look to bounce back after a defeat in their last outing when they host a St Louis City side who will be protecting an unbeaten start to the MLS campaign at Providence Park on Sunday.
The home side come into this bout on the back of a 3-2 defeat away against Los Angeles FC, while St Louis head into this matchup after a 3-1 win against Charlotte FC in their last game.
We say: Portland Timbers 2-2 St Louis City
We believe that this fixture will present goalscoring opportunities for both teams, as the two sides are susceptible to lapses in concentration at the back.
Therefore, we think that this affair will end level, but will be a high-scoring matchup due to the nature of both sides.

Earthquakes vs. Colorado (Sunday, 3.30am)
© Reuters
San Jose Earthquakes will be in search of back-to-back victories after a disappointing first game of the season when they host a labouring Colorado Rapids on Sunday at PayPal Park.
The hosts head into this affair after coming back from a one-goal deficit in their last fixture to beat Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1, while the Rapids continued to misfire up top in a 0-0 draw against Sporting Kansas City last time out.
We say: San Jose Earthquakes 1-1 Colorado Rapids
We think that this game will be dictated largely in possession by the visitors, that it will ultimately end in a low-scoring draw due to the away side's inability to finish off the chances that they create.
