Charlton Athletic have reportedly called time on Chris Powell's managerial stint at The Valley.
The decision is said to have been made following the Addicks' 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United in the quarter-final of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Along with their FA Cup exit, Charlton have been struggling in the Championship as they currently reside at the bottom of the league table, four points adrift from safety.
Powell, whose contract was due to expire at the end of the season, recently revealed that talks over a new deal had stalled due to an issue regarding future transfer strategy.
It has now been reported that Charlton have sacked Powell, with former Standard Liege boss Jose Riga expected to take charge of the team, according to Sky Sports News.
Powell became Charlton manager back in 2011.
