Preview: Charlton Athletic vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks over the Good Friday Championship match between Charlton Athletic and Bolton Wanderers.

Charlton Athletic play their third game in six days on Good Friday when Bolton Wanderers visit The Valley.

Charlton now have just one game in hand on the teams below them and go into Friday's game just a point above the drop zone.

Jose Riga's side have lost two games in a row and might feel that facing Bolton, who have little to play for in the final games of the season, will help.

Both teams go into the match after playing Barnsley, with Charlton going down at home to the Tykes on Tuesday night while Bolton beat them on Saturday.

Given Charlton's busy schedule, Riga could make changes against the Trotters.

Left-back Rhoys Wiggins is out injured so Michael Morrison could come in, while further forward Reza Ghoochannejhad and Astrit Ajdarevic could earn recalls.

Dougie Freedman's Wanderers go into the match on a six-game unbeaten run, winning their last three games to close in on the top half of the table.

Mark Davies is expected to miss out again but Lukas Jutkiewicz and Medo could come back into the starting lineup after dropping to the bench against Barnsley.

The reverse fixture at the Reebok Stadium ended as a 1-1 draw back in December.
