Charlton Athletic this evening signed French right-back Loic Nego from Hungarian outfit Ujpest for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Addicks and is available for selection in Saturday's Championship match against Wigan Athletic.
Nego was an Under-20 international with France at the 2011 World Cup and impressed with his performances to seal a move to Italian giants Roma.
He failed to make an appearance in Serie A but was loaned out to Standard Liege, the club also possessed by Charlton's new owner Roland Duchatelet, before moving to Ujpest last year.
Nego is the fourth player to join Charlton in January but the first to switch permanently to The Valley.
