David Luiz misses Basel match

A knee injury rules David Luiz out of Chelsea's Champions League clash against Swiss side Basel.

Chelsea have confirmed that David Luiz will miss tomorrow's Champions League encounter against Basel.

The centre-back has picked up a knee injury that is likely to keep him out of action for around seven days.

However, it has been revealed that Fernando Torres has returned to the squad following an abductor complaint that had sidelined him for the last three matches, as well as the international break.

Marco van Ginkel, who damaged his cruciate ligament earlier in the season, is the only other senior player who has not made the trip to Switzerland.
