New Chelsea signing Papy Djilobodji has been left out of the club's squad for this season's Champions League group stages.
The 26-year-old defender completed his move to Stamford Bridge on transfer deadline day, joining on a four-year deal from Nantes for a fee of £4m.
However, the Senegal international will play no part in Chelsea's attempts to make it through to the knockout rounds of Europe's elite competition, having missed out to the likes of Bertrand Traore and Kenedy for a place in the squad.
The latter has already featured for Jose Mourinho's side in the Premier League this season, while Traore was praised by the Portuguese boss for his efforts during pre-season.
Djilobodji's fellow summer arrivals Abdul Baba Rahman, Radamel Falcao and Pedro have all been included as Chelsea aim to improve on their last-16 exit in 2014-15.
