Didier Drogba misses Champions League tie

Didier Drogba will be absent from the Chelsea side that faces Genk tomorrow after having screws removed from his arm.

Chelsea will be without striker Didier Drogba for tomorrow's Champions League fixture at Belgian side Genk.

The 33-year-old has had an operation to remove screws from the arm that he broke at last year's World Cup in South Africa.

Drogba is currently serving a three-match domestic suspension for a two-footed challenge on Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt.

The Ivorian's absence was the only team news that manager Andre Villas-Boas confirmed at press conference this afternoon.
