Juan Mata: 'Shakhtar Donetsk clash is like a final'

Chelsea attacking midfielder Juan Mata is determined to earn maximum points against Shakhtar Donetsk at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Chelsea attacking midfielder Juan Mata has claimed that his side's clash with Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday will be "like a final".

The Premier League outfit will host the Ukrainian giants in the Champions League Group E, looking to avenge their 2-1 away defeat last month.

"It's time to move on and to focus on the Champions League match this Wednesday," Mata wrote on his official website.

"It's like a final for us if we want to finish first in our group. Besides, in Ukraine, Shakhtar proved to be a top team who are able to beat anyone.

"Even so, we always have a great support at the Bridge and I'm confident that we will get a victory to face the last two games in a good position. Champions League nights at the Bridge are always special."

Chelsea are currently second in Group E with four points from three matches, three points behind leaders Shakhtar.
