Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has claimed that the point earned against Dynamo Kiev could be vital in their quest to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The Blues were held to a goalless draw by the Ukrainian side in Kiev on Tuesday night, in a match that saw Willian and Eden Hazard both hit the woodwork.
Matic has insisted that the team and supporters should not feel disappointed with the result.
"We wanted to get three points but we have to respect the fact we got one, and it could be very important for us when we finish the group," the Serbian told Chelsea's official website.
"We played against a good team. They were very solid, very compact and the supporters saw a good game between two good teams. Of course we are not happy with a point but it's better to get one than lose the game."
Chelsea are third in Group G, one point behind Dynamo in second spot.
