The summer transfer window has now closed, with Chelsea among the busiest clubs and biggest spenders in world football.
After two windows without signing a single player, the Blues made up for lost time by splashing well over £200m on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva. Attention will now switch to the January window and whether Chelsea will invest heavily again.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Stamford Bridge.
Wednesday morning's Chelsea transfer talk news roundup:
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger keen on Barcelona move?
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is open to joining Barcelona in the January transfer window, according to a report.
The 27-year-old has struggled for action since Thiago Silva arrived at Stamford Bridge, failing to play a single minute in the Premier League this term.
Spanish outlet Sport claims that Barca are interested in signing the Germany international, however, having been frustrated in their attempt to land top target Eric Garcia from Manchester City.
The report indicates that Rudiger is keen on making a switch to Camp Nou in the New Year and Chelsea are willing to cash in.
Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi is rumoured to be further down Barca's list of available options should they fail to reach an agreement with the Blues.
Jorginho agent hints at Chelsea exit
The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has admitted that the Italy international could push for an exit from Stamford Bridge depending on Maurizio Sarri's next career move.
Sarri and Jorginho worked together at Napoli before the duo made the switch to the English capital, although Sarri soon changed allegiances to Juventus in 2019 before being sacked earlier this year.
The ex-Chelsea boss is yet to take on his next managerial role, but Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has confirmed that his client would be open to a return to Italy if Sarri finds another job in the dugout there.
Speaking to Calciomercato, Santos said: "He's very happy with Frank Lampard and Chelsea can do even better than last season.
"Almost all the Italy players are in Serie A, as it's an important league, but his journey took him to London. If Maurizio Sarri had remained, perhaps he'd have joined Juventus.
"Jorginho has a personal and professional bond with the coach that is very strong. We're waiting to see where Sarri goes, and if it's a big club in Italy, Jorginho could follow him."
Jorginho already has 11 appearances to his name in a Chelsea shirt this season, but the 28-year-old was named on the bench for the Blues' Premier League wins over Burnley and Sheffield United before the international break.
