FA Director of Football Development Sir Trevor Brooking has said that defender Gary Cahill should be fit for England's Euro 2012 campaign.
Cahill, 26, had to have an x-ray on his jaw yesterday after colliding with his own goalkeeper Joe Hart because of a push from Belgium's Dries Mertens.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Brooking said: "The feedback is we're hoping his jaw is not cracked."
Cahill's defensive partner John Terry also had an injury worry after tweaking his hamstring in the physical game against the Belgians, which England came through 1-0.
On Terry's injury, Brooking added: "The medical staff are hopeful he will be able to stay."
The Three Lions' first game at the European Championships is against France in Donetsk in 8 days' time.
