Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted that it would be embarrassing to drop out of the Champions League and into the Europa League.
Jose Mourinho's side need a point against Porto at Stamford Bridge this evening if they are to reach the last 16 of the competition.
If the Blues suffer defeat and Dynamo Kiev beat Maccabi Tel Aviv in Ukraine, then the Premier League side will drop into the second-tier European competition.
According to the Daily Star, when asked if it would be embarrassing to play in the Europa League, Courtois said: "Yes, of course. We're a team to go in the Champions League and go as far as we can, but we're confident we'll get the win and get through.
"A team like Chelsea has to have the goal to win the Champions League so, obviously, we don't want to be in the Europa League."
Meanwhile, Manchester City managed to top their group last night, but it was the end of the road for Manchester United as they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg.
