Last week's selections were somewhat hindered by the late injury to Chelsea striker Loic Remy, but as far as our remaining picks went, we came up trumps. We advised you to choose Wayne Rooney and Alberto Moreno, and the Manchester United striker was instrumental in United's 4-2 victory over Manchester City, while the Liverpool left-back earned clean-sheet points against Newcastle United on Monday night.
We also saved you from missing out on a few points too. Scott Dann failed to shut out the Sunderland attack for Crystal Palace, while both Jesus Navas and Christian Eriksen were part of losing efforts for their respective sides.
Below, Sports Mole chooses six more players who we think will either have a positive or negative effect during week 33 of the Premier League.
Who to pick
1. Glenn Murray
Football's a funny game, isn't it? Before the arrival of Alan Pardew, Crystal Palace forward Glenn Murray barely got a look-in at Selhurst Park but he has been transformed into one of the in-form strikers in the Premier League. Murray has scored six goals in his last six games, including a sharp finish at Sunderland last weekend, but the 31-year-old is also weighing in with a number of assists. His role as target man for the Eagles has helped earned the club four successive wins and with West Bromwich Albion travelling to London on Saturday after shipping seven goals in games with Queens Park Rangers and Leicester City, you have to believe that Murray is going to weigh in with another contribution this weekend.
2. Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero has been absent from our 'who to pick' section after a frustrating few weeks in front of goal, but his two strikes against Manchester United would have provided City's supporters and fantasy football players with plenty of encouragement. His double came in a losing effort, but it ended a run of 574 minutes without a goal at a time when the Argentine was showing signs of losing his way ahead of an important half-a-dozen games for his team. With West Ham the visitors to the North-West on Sunday afternoon, the 26-year-old should have opportunities to add more goals to his tally, maybe from the penalty spot if one of City's front four can draw a clumsy challenge out of a defender.
3. Martin Demichelis
We are guessing you are as shocked at this selection as referee Mark Clattenburg was when Martin Demichelis jumped to his feet after seemingly suffering a head injury at Old Trafford last weekend? We admit that it's something of a left-field choice, but it's one that could make the difference for you in your mini-leagues. The Argentine has helped City to just one clean sheet in 13 games - against Leicester City on March 4 - but the City backline are aware that improvements are needed and they could be under strict orders to keep things simple in their home fixture with West Ham. The Hammers have the worst away record in the top 12 of the Premier League so chances are they could struggle to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium.
Who to avoid
1. Didier Drogba
With Diego Costa sidelined with a hamstring problem and Remy remaining an injury doubt, Didier Drogba looks in line to head Chelsea's attack against Manchester United on Saturday evening, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he will benefit the Blues. The 37-year-old is a Stamford Bridge legend, but he was well below his best against Queens Park Rangers last weekend. That could perhaps be put down to a lack of match sharpness, but Drogba hasn't scored since December 6 and he isn't the force he once was in and around the box. Despite their recent results, United are still shipping goals at the back but Drogba could find it tough going if he can't improve on last week's display.
2. Jose Fonte

After Southampton secured three points and a clean sheet against Hull City last weekend, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Saints are back on track in their quest to secure a Europa League place, but they face a big test of character this weekend. Travelling to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City is a tough test at the best of times, but with the chance to open up a five-point gap over Tottenham Hotspur in sixth place and the absence of key midfielder Victor Wanyama through suspension, the pressure is on Ronald Koeman's men. They have the quality in their ranks to secure a result in the Potteries but despite their impressive defensive record, they may struggle to shut the Stoke attack out for 90 minutes.
3. Fabricio Coloccini
After five league defeats in a row, St James' Park isn't a happy place right now, and with boycotts threatened for Sunday's game with Spurs, things could still get worse for John Carver. However, the Newcastle United boss will be boosted by the availability of Fabricio Coloccini on Sunday, which could improve a Magpies defence who have looked poor during his absence because of a three-match ban. The return of the Argentine, though, might not be enough to turn things around for the North-East club, who need to improve before the season concludes at the end of May. Spurs have looked equally poor over the past two games, but this could be the fixture that they require to get back on the goal trail.
