Tottenham Hotspur injury, suspension list vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides Tottenham Hotspur's full list of injuries and suspensions ahead of Sunday's Premier League fixture with Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur play host to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon looking to move level on points with their London rivals in the Premier League table.

As a result of their 2-1 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, Spurs sit just three points adrift of the fourth-placed Blues.

Jose Mourinho - a two-time manager of Chelsea - will now hope that he can extend his early record at the North Londoners to six victories from eight outings.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this fixture.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out
Type of injury: Elbow
Possible return date: Unknown

Having undergone surgery on a dislocated elbow sustained against Brighton & Hove Albion in October, Lloris is not expected to be back in contention until after the turn of the year.

Erik Lamela

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 22 (vs. Chelsea)

Despite being tipped to return to the bench at Molineux, Lamela missed out on a place in the 18-man squad. However, the Argentine should be in contention for Sunday's derby.

Michel Vorm

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: December 22 (vs. Chelsea)

The reserve goalkeeper has been battling with a calf problem in recent weeks. However, the Dutchman could reclaim his deputy duties at the weekend.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Davies will not return to action before the end of 2019 after undergoing an operation on an ankle injury, sustained in Mourinho's first game in charge against West Ham United.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 22 (vs. Chelsea)

After picking up a groin problem earlier this month, Ndombele faces a race to be fit for the visit of the Blues. However, regardless of whether he is available for selection, the Frenchman is unlikely to be risked from the opening whistle.

Spurs have no players who are suspended for this match.
