Chelsea injury news vs. Wolves: Will Cole Palmer join Reece James on the sidelines?

Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they make the trip to the West Midlands to face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

The Blues are still searching for their maiden top-flight win of the Enzo Maresca era following a 2-0 defeat to champions Manchester City last weekend at Stamford Bridge.

After a difficult opening assignment against Pep Guardiola's Citizens, the West Londoners commenced their Conference League adventure with the visit of Servette on Thursday night.

Making up for a goalless first period at Stamford Bridge, the Blues moved towards a spot in the League Phase of the continental competition courtesy of second-half strikes from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's injury and suspension news ahead of their meeting with Wolves, who are also looking to respond positively following their defeat at Arsenal last time out in the Premier League.

Taking part in his fifth match of Chelsea's pre-season, Reece James pulled up with an injury just minutes before he was scheduled to be substituted against Real Madrid at the Bank of America Stadium, and with the England international sidelined until next month, Malo Gusto should start at right-back for the Blues in the Black Country.

Sending sections of Chelsea's fanbase into panic on Thursday night, Cole Palmer was spotted holding his right hamstring at the conclusion of the Conference League success over Servette, although Blues boss Enzo Maresca has since stated that the former Man City youngster should be available to feature this weekend.
