Cesc Fabregas out, Bruno Soriano in for Spain

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is ruled out of the latest Spain squad, with Villarreal's Bruno Soriano the 27-year-old's replacement.

Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out of the Spain squad for their upcoming internationals against Belarus and Germany.

The Chelsea midfielder was selected by La Roja head coach Vicente del Bosque in his latest squad despite fears over a hamstring injury.

However, following a medical examination, the 27-year-old has been ruled out for his country and will now return to Stamford Bridge to undergo treatment.

As a result, Villarreal captain Bruno Soriano, who has not played for his country since 2012, has been handed a call-up.

Spain face Belarus in a Euro 2016 qualifier on November 15, before facing Germany in a friendly three days later.
