Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel reveals that Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are both injury doubts for Sunday's Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has suggested that at least one of Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek could miss Sunday's Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The pair both featured as the Blues drew 1-1 with Everton on Thursday evening, but Tuchel has been boosted by the return to fitness of Trevoh Chalobah and N'Golo Kante.

When addressing a question regarding Mateo Kovacic, who only returned to training on Friday after coronavirus, Tuchel hinted that he may, unfairly, have to call upon the Croatian at the weekend.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Tuchel said: "Jorginho is in doubt for Sunday because he is in pain. We have Ruben Loftus-Cheek in doubt because he is in pain. Do we know that they can travel with us tomorrow? No we don't. I don't know if it is possible.

"Maybe we start with N'Golo and Mateo. Would that be fair? No. Would that be possible? I don't know, but maybe we do.

Kovacic has been absent for Chelsea since October 26 and had only just returned to training when he tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month.
