Team News: Cesc Fabregas returns for Chelsea against Derby County

Cesc Fabregas comes back into the Chelsea starting lineup for their League Cup quarter-final against Derby County.

Cesc Fabregas has returned to the Chelsea starting lineup for tonight's League Cup quarter-final away to Derby County.

The Spanish midfielder was forced to miss his side's 2-0 win over Hull City in the Premier League at the weekend due to a suspension.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has made a further four changes to his side as Kurt Zouma, Cesar Azpilicueta, Andre Schurrle and Didier Drogba all start.

Willian, Loic Remy and Diego Costa are among those who have to settle for a place on the bench for the visitors.

Derby manager Steve McClaren has gone for two changes after seeing his side lose 2-0 at Middlesbrough on Saturday, with Jake Buxton and Will Hughes both coming into the starting XI.

Derby: Grant; Christie, Buxton, Keogh, Forsyth; Hughes, Mascarell, Bryson, Russell, Martin; Dawkins
Subs: Roos, Coutts, Naylor, Hendrick, Calero, Best, Ibe

Chelsea: Cech; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Terry, Filipe Luis; Mikel, Matic; Schurrle, Fabregas, Hazard; Drogba
Subs: Schwarzer, Ivanovic, Ramires, Willian, Salah, Remy, Costa
