Nathan Ake issues his thanks to his Chelsea teammates following his rise to the senior squad.

Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake has revealed that some of his senior teammates have offered him advice in recent months.

The 18-year-old has made five appearances in all competitions this season following his debut last December.

Reflecting on his outings, Ake has thanked the likes of captain John Terry for the support that he has received.

"Things have changed quickly, I didn't expect to be in the first team already. I can't believe it but I will have to keep working to stay here," the London Evening Standard quotes him as saying.

"John Terry, Paulo Ferreira and David Luiz have all been a great help. They talk to me a lot. Paulo tells me I have to stay the same person and not let it go to my head. My brother does the same."

The Dutch youth international joined the Blues from Feyenoord in 2011.
