Sao Paulo's director of football Adalberto Baptista has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur target and former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has turned down an offer to manage the Brazilian club.
Sao Paulo sacked boss Emerson Leao earlier today and Baptista has said that the Portuguese manager has rejected the advances of the club.
Speaking to Globo Esporte, Baptista said: "He today said that he doesn't want to manage Sao Paulo. He prefers to have more time to plan things but I have no time to wait."
Villas-Boas distanced himself from the Spurs position at the weekend and has been without a club since March.
