Chelsea striker Demba Ba says that the players are still behind Rafael Benitez.

Chelsea striker Demba Ba has said that the players remain firmly behind interim manager Rafael Benitez.

Benitez has been singled out for boos from sections of the Chelsea supporters ever since his arrival at the club in November and the former Liverpool boss launched an attack on the people who have opposed his position at the helm on Wednesday.

The Spaniard also admitted that he would leave at the end of the season, but Ba has claimed that the squad are still playing for the manager.

"The players are fully behind him," Ba told BBC Sport.

"It doesn't matter who is there [as manager] the players should be behind him and he has our full support."

Ba claimed the winner in Saturday's 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
