Asmir Begovic: 'Chelsea players behind Jose Mourinho'

Asmir Begovic says that the Chelsea players are behind under-pressure manager Jose Mourinho.

Asmir Begovic has said that the Chelsea team are behind manager Jose Mourinho.

The goalkeeper conceded a goal from Marko Arnautovic as the Blues lost 1-0 at Stoke City to heap more pressure on the Chelsea boss.

"Jose Mourinho did the pre-match talk at the hotel and that was it," Begovic told Sky Sports News.

"[Mourinho's possible sacking] is out of our control. We are behind the manager you can see that from our performances. We think he is the right man and someone we work hard for.

"His spirit and his presence is always there, we wanted to get a result for him."

The result leaves Chelsea just three points above the Premier League relegation zone.
