Rafael Benitez questions amount of injury time at Anfield

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez questions the amount of injury time at the end of his side's 2-2 draw at Liverpool in the Premier League.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has questioned the amount of injury time that was played at the end of his side's 2-2 draw at Liverpool in the Premier League.

Luis Suarez scored with seconds remaining at Anfield on Sunday to earn the Merseysiders a point.

However, questions have been raised as to whether Suarez should have been on the pitch following an incident that saw the striker go unpunished for allegedly biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

"It is one point, but when you are winning in the last second, it is incredible to play six minutes and 45 seconds of injury time," Benitez told BBC Sport. "You do not see that.

"It does not matter, you cannot change things. They can give you 20 explanations. You have to give credit to Liverpool as they were pushing."

The draw has seen Chelsea drop down to fourth place in the Premier League table.
