Peter Bosz: 'Chelsea's Bertrand Traore is underperforming at Ajax'

Ajax boss Peter Bosz says that he has been left disappointed with the performances of Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore, who is on loan at the Dutch giants.

Ajax boss Peter Bosz has said that Bertrand Traore "can do much better" after failing to impress during his loan spell from Chelsea.

Despite playing 16 times last season, the Premier League outfit decided to allow the striker to spend a year in the Eredivisie to gain further first-team experience.

However, after scoring just three goals from 13 appearances, Bosz has criticised the performances of the Burkina Faso international.

The 52-year-old is quoted by Voetbal International as saying: "His attitude is nothing wrong, but the shape is not good.

"I know he can do much better that he has shown at Ajax in his early days. But since the last international period, he will never get the level of before. It is important that he gets back to form as soon as possible."

Traore signed a three-year deal with Chelsea before being loaned out to Ajax.
