Jamie Carragher: Title race "back on" if Manchester City beat Everton

Jamie Carragher warns Chelsea that the title race will be "back on" if Manchester City beat Everton at the Etihad this evening.

Jamie Carragher believes that the race for the Premier League crown will be "back on" if Manchester City take all three points against Everton today.

The Liverpool legend had previously said that Jose Mourinho's Chelsea could easily go all season unbeaten, though that proved not to be the case as the Blues went down 2-1 away at Newcastle United.

Papiss Cisse put the Magpies ahead in the 57th minute and doubled the home side's advantage on 78 minutes, with Didier Drogba netting what turned out to be a consolation goal with seven minutes remaining.

Manuel Pellegrini's side can now reduce Chelsea's lead at the top to three points with a win against Everton at the Etihad tonight.
