Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech admits that he would like to see Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba both start up front for the Blues.

Petr Cech believes that there is room in the Chelsea starting lineup for strikers Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba both to feature.

It has been reported that interim manager Roberto Di Matteo is considering selecting just one of the duo for the club's remaining fixtures, which include the finals of the Champions League and FA Cup.

However, goalkeeper Cech would like the pair to be given the chance to forge an understanding.

"I'd start both," he said. "I believe it is possible but I don't know whether it would be done or if it would work.

"I am sure one day it will happen and there will be goals."

Spanish international Torres caught the eye yesterday by scoring three times in Chelsea's 6-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.
