Chelsea may allegedly be allowed to sell tickets for future games if they donate the profits to Ukraine.

Chelsea may reportedly be given permission to sell tickets in the future, providing that they donate the profits to Ukraine.

As per the terms of the government sanctions which were imposed on Roman Abramovich on Thursday, Chelsea are banned from making money from their traditional revenue streams.

That includes through ticket sales, and supporters will only be able to attend matches where they have already acquired a seat.

However, according to PA, a scenario could be put in place where tickets are sold and the money donated to the humanitarian effort in Ukraine.

Sports minister Nigel Huddleston is alleged to have told a meeting at the Football Supporters' Association that is one option which could be explored.

With the West Londoners also seeing credit cards temporarily frozen while banks assess their own options, club officials have sought to instigate discussions with the government regarding the amendment of the special licence that was given to them earlier this week.
