Chelsea have reportedly identified Zinedine Zidane and Frank Lampard as possible replacements for Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues have lost five of their last 10 matches, and it has resulted in Sarri fighting to keep his job in the dugout at Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea hierarchy have allegedly met to discuss the Italian's future and Gianfranco Zola is said to be under consideration to become caretaker manager for the rest of the campaign.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Chelsea board have also identified Zidane and Lampard as potential appointments in the long term.
Zidane has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid last summer, and the Frenchman is reportedly keen on gaining a job in the Premier League.
Club legend Lampard is manager at Derby County, and although the former midfielder is unlikely to be prepared to leave the Rams during their promotion bid in the Championship, the Englishman has previously spoken about wanting to become Chelsea manager in the future.
