Chelsea are reportedly preparing to offer Emerson Palmieri a new and improved deal at Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old joined the Blues from Roma in January 2018 and has ousted Marcos Alonso to become the club's first-choice left-back under Frank Lampard.
Emerson still has little under three years to run on his contract at Chelsea, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italy international is in line for a new deal in the English capital.
The report claims that the defender will be handed a pay rise at the club, with his wages set to climb from £3.5m to £4.5m plus performance-related bonuses.
The Brazilian-born ace has played every minute of his team's four Premier League matches at the start of the 2019-20 campaign, in addition to the full 120 minutes of the UEFA Super Cup.
The Blues will return to Premier League action with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on September 14.
