Ashley Cole denies asking for £200k per week

Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole has denied rumours that he has demanded a new £200k-per-week contract with the club.

Rumours have also linked Cole with a reunion with former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti at Paris Saint-Germain, which led to his alleged wage demands, but Cole has now denied these claims.

"Contract talks have not stalled just started, and 200k are you for real, I'd never ask for that," Cole wrote on Twitter.

"Like I said before don't listen or always believe what media say they ain't got a clue".

Cole has been at Chelsea since signing from Arsenal in 2006.
