Chelsea's young goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted that he is not ready to feature in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old joined the Blues from Belgian club Genk in the summer but was immediatley loaned out to Atletico Madrid.
With no experience of football in England, Courtois believes that it will take another couple of years before he feels ready turn out at Stamford Bridge.
"I think I will have to play for another English team for a year or two before I join Chelsea," Courtois told The People. "I need to learn about the style of play in England. Once I've done that I will see if I am ready to turn out for Chelsea.
"I'm quite happy with my performances for Atletico. But given Petr Cech is one of the best keepers in the world, I think I will have to stay put.
"I have time on my side, I'll carry on working and Chelsea are continuing to follow my progress."
Chelsea are believed to have paid £8m to sign Courtois.
