Interim Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo claims that he is not thinking about the possibility of getting the job on a permanent basis.

Interim Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has claimed that he is not thinking about the possibility of taking over at Stamford Bridge full time.

Di Matteo has been in charge at the London club for three games after Andre Villas-Boas was sacked earlier this month, winning all of them, including a dramatic 4-1 victory over Napoli which secured a place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Despite the impressive start, however, Di Matteo is keen to focus on the near future and not think about the possibility of getting the job permanently.

"That has not crossed my mind for one second," said the Italian.

"I have so many things to do you can't even imagine. I am focusing just to get the team ready to the best of my ability for Sunday.

"We have set ourselves the target for the season and there doesn't need to be any other discussions."

Chelsea currently sit fifth in the Premier League and will look to progress in the FA Cup when they face Leicester City later today.
