Didier Drogba singles out Chelsea's older senior players and claims that they need to "adapt and learn" to adhere to Andre Villas-Boas's new style.

Didier Drogba believes that Chelsea's ageing senior players need to change their style of play in order to fit in with Andre Villas-Boas's new philosophy.

Reports have claimed that the ex-Porto boss is willing to let six members of the team leave in the January transfer window.

"He is trying to build something strong, like the other managers did before," The Mirror quotes Drogba as saying. "He bought some new players and we have to adapt.

"I will say the old players, the ones who have been here for a while, we have to adapt together, learn how to play together and win together."

It is unclear whether the Ivory Coast international will remain at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.
