Didier Drogba has pulled out of the Ivory Coast squad to face Guinea on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old suffered a knee injury during Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
The complaint forced Drogba to limp off at Stamford Bridge 14 minutes before the final whistle.
Chelsea will now monitor the problem ahead of their match against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.
