Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is said to be "annoyed" by manager Jose Mourinho's comments regarding the Cameroonian's age.
Mourinho has hit out at the media for leaking a private conversation, in which he questioned Eto'o's age.
The Portuguese coach is also believed to have dismissed his side's Premier League title chances due to having "no strikers", despite 32-year-old Eto'o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba being at his disposal.
Former Cameroon coach Claude Le Roy told Canal+ show Talents d'Afrique. "I had him on the phone just before I came on screen, and he's very annoyed.
"Actually, Mourinho went to see him before he saw the pictures and told him to not believe everything that was going to be said, and that he had said nothing about him. But I can tell you that Samuel didn't like it."
Eto'o moved to Stamford Bridge from Anzhi Makhachkala last summer.
