Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo has claimed that Jose Mourinho's return to the club "smells like gold".
The Portuguese coach left the Blues in 2007 after a successful three-year spell but was announced as their new manager last week.
"I think his strength is his connection with the players," Flo, who works in Chelsea's youth academy, told Goal.com. "I wouldn't be surprised if he gets John Terry to be as good as he was some years ago again.
"Frank Lampard, he had a brilliant season last season, and he seems to be in great form, and with some new players he is going to bring in, I think that it smells like gold to me."
Mourinho's first press conference as new Chelsea manager is due to take place on Monday afternoon at 1.30pm.
