Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart been shortlisted for the FIFA FIFPro World XI of 2012.
The England international is one of five nominees for the goalkeeper category, with Chelsea's Petr Cech also among the shortlisted custodians.
Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas, Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer and Gianluigi Buffon of Juventus are the other three candidates.
The decision on who has been the best goalkeeper of 2012 will be announced during the FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala on January 7.
