Chelsea attacking midfielder Eden Hazard has insisted that he is comfortable with the physical nature of English football.
The Belgian was given his first taste of top-flight football in England during Sunday's Community Shield loss to Manchester City and the former Lille playmaker claims that he is happy with his new surroundings.
"I wasn't surprised at how physical it was, even in a friendly," Hazard said. "It was very fast and I believe it's a perfect style of play for my qualities.
"I have settled very well. I have a house now near Chelsea training ground and I enjoy my new life. My team-mates are very cool, great players and nice men."
Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has declared himself pleased with Hazard's debut at Villa Park.
