Chelsea captain John Terry insists that the team are "100% behind" manager Jose Mourinho following a difficult start to the season.

Chelsea captain John Terry has insisted that he and his teammates are "100% behind" manager Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach has been at the centre of speculation that he could lose his job before the end of the season following five Premier League defeats.

The Blues, who comfortably won the title last season, have grabbed just three wins in 10 matches and have played out two draws.

Prior to today's kickoff against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Terry told BT Sport: "We're all 100% behind the manager and rightly so because of what he's achieved here. We need to stay together and perform as we have done in the last two games, but pick up three points."

Chelsea are currently 15th in the league table.
