Jose Mourinho to stay at team hotel?

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reportedly decides to stay at the team's hotel for the trip to Stoke City this evening.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly not travelled with the Chelsea squad that visits Stoke City this evening.

The under-pressure Portuguese coach has been given a touchline ban for the game at the Britannia, and has decided to remain at the team's hotel for the trip to Mark Hughes's side, according to Sky Sports News.

Under the terms of Mourinho's ban, the Chelsea boss is permitted to watch the game from the stands, but the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss has opted to stay away as his side look to bounce back from last week's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool last week.

The Blues are currently 15th in the Premier League table.
