Robbie Keane believes that his former Liverpool teammate Fernando Torres will soon rediscover his goalscoring form.

Robbie Keane is confident that Chelsea striker Fernando Torres will soon rediscover his goalscoring form.

The Spaniard has struggled to find the net since joining Chelsea for £50m from Liverpool in January 2011.

Despite his recent barren spell, Keane believes that his former Liverpool teammate will starting goals in the near future.

"I just hope he can get back to scoring goals like he does. I think everyone wishes that whether you are a Chelsea fan or not," Keane told reporters.

"To be fair to him, he has kept his head down, he has never come out and slagged anyone off, or he has never been disrespectful to Chelsea at all. The sooner he starts scoring goals, the better, and I am sure he will do."

Torres has scored three league goals this season.
