Chelsea's Frank Lampard relishing title race finale

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard expresses his delight that the Blues are genuine title contenders this season.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has admitted that he is relishing the final stretch of this season's Premier League title race.

The England international said that he is delighted the Blues are genuine contenders for the crown this term after falling short in previous campaigns.

"It's great to be in this position," Sky Sports News quotes Lampard as saying. "We've had a couple of years, two or three years, off the pace, finishing short.

"It's great to be back in the race and to feel that around the club, to feel we're fighting for the title rather than fighting for fourth place. It feels good."

Chelsea head into this weekend's Premier League clash with third-placed Arsenal at the top of the table, four points clear of Liverpool, who have played one game fewer, in second.
