Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente has claimed that his former manager Antonio Conte has what it takes to turn Chelsea into Premier League champions in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have kicked off the new campaign with three wins from three in the top flight, already making last season's disastrous 10th-place finish a distant memory.
Llorente, who scored 18 goals under Conte at Juventus during the 2013-14 season, believes that Chelsea are the team to beat this term as his Swansea side look to pull off an upset at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.
"He was good to work for, he was fiery. You could speak with him, there is a lot of energy and passion there, and players gave their best of themselves every day," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"He knows when he needs to assert himself to the players, to tell them how to play better. Players respected him, but it was not quite fear. I think Chelsea this year will win the Premier League."
Llorente has failed to get off the mark for Swansea in his four appearances since joining for £5m from Sevilla in August.
