Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Paul Miller believes that new manager Andre Villas-Boas can be the club's Jose Mourinho.
The former Chelsea chief was appointed as the new Spurs boss on Tuesday, having been out of a club since he was sacked from Stamford Bridge in March.
Miller feels that Villas-Boas wasn't given a fair chance at the Blues and that he could be a real hit at White Hart Lane.
"He's come with a good record from Portugal and he's arguably the next Jose Mourinho," he told talkSPORT.
"Whoever took over at Chelsea last year would have found it tough. Just look at how many players have left. Tottenham will benefit from his experience at Chelsea.
"He's hungry to do well in the Premier League after what happened to him and he wants to prove a point. He's not coming for the money. He's coming because he wants to prove something. I'm very positive about the appointment and I think everyone should give him a chance."
Villas-Boas's employment at Spurs comes after the club parted ways with Harry Redknapp last month.
