Jose Mourinho 'annoyed' his striker comments were aired by media

Jose Mourinho is reportedly annoyed that light-hearted comments he made regarding his Chelsea strikers were aired by the media.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly 'annoyed' that private comments he made regarding his strikers have been made public.

The Portuguese coach was filmed by French television station Canal+ while speaking to a Swiss businessman at a recent event.

It is believed that during the exchange, Mourinho said: "The problem with Chelsea is I lack a striker. I have [Samuel] Eto'o but he is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?"

According to PA, Mourinho has been left feeling irritated after comments that he deemed to be light-hearted have made headline news.

The Blues boss is believed to have been unaware that he was being filmed.
