Jose Mourinho: 'We will not rest on our laurels'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists that his side will be fired up to repeat their Premier League title success next season.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has warned his side's rivals that they will not rest on their laurels next season after their Premier League title win.

The Blues ended their season with a 3-1 victory over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge to finish eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

Mourinho has insisted that he will have no problem investing in his squad over the summer to keep his players performing at their best.

He told BBC Sport: "I know that our rivals are not going to accept this title and they are going to fight and there are three or four teams that will be aiming for us and we have to be better - me, the players and our squad.

"Maybe they need some fresh blood to keep them under pressure. They know me they know that they are not going to keep their positions on the basis of this year."

Didier Drogba played his final game for Chelsea this afternoon and was carried off the pitch by his teammates at Stamford Bridge.
